INNOVATING FOR A SAFER WORLD®

TOMI Environmental Solutions, Inc. is a global bacteria decontamination and infectious disease control company, providing environmental solutions for indoor surface decontamination through the manufacturing, sales and licensing of its SteraMist brand products. SteraMist is an EPA registered sole active ingredient 7.8% hydrogen peroxide-based product line that uses Binary Ionization Technology (BIT).

Binary Ionization Technology (BIT), a patented process that activates and ionizes a 7.8% Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) sole active ingredient-based solution into a fine mist/fog known as ionized Hydrogen Peroxide (iHP).

The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) and a large U.S. defense contractor joined forces to develop Binary Ionization Technology (BIT) platform and its SteraMist brand in response to Amerithrax (anthrax attacks) proving to be capable of defending against biological spores and chemical agents.
